There are many ways to lose weight fast. However, most of them will leave you hangry and unless you have an iron willpower, hunger will cause you to give up on these plans faster than you started.

The plan outlined here will:

  • Reduce your appetite significantly.
  • Make you lose weight quickly, without hunger.
  • Improve your metabolic health at the same time.

Maintain your distance from Sugars and Carbs

The most important part of your diet is to cut back on sugars and carbs. Your hunger levels reduce and you will end up eating much fewer calories. Now, your body will start feeding off of stored fat instead of burning carbs for energy. Another benefit of cutting starch is that it lowers insulin levels, causing your kidneys to shed excess sodium and water out of your body. This reduces bloating and unnecessary water weight. It is common to lose up to 10 pounds in the first week of eating this way, both body fat, and water weight.

Eat your greens, fat, and protein

Each one of your meals should include a fat source, a protein source, and low-carb vegetables. This will automatically bring your carbs intake into the range of 20-50 grams per day. Some of the protein sources are meat, fish and seafood and eggs. Low carb vegetables include broccoli, cauliflower. Spinach, tomatoes, among many others, while olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil constitute to your fat source. You can carefully analyze your diet plan according to your need Or you can pick a healthy and effective diet plan that is likely to help you lose that extra weight.

The Cheat Day

Everyone has heard of occasional cheat days by our gym-going or health conscious friends. During your cheat day, you eat more carbs and while many people prefer Saturday, you can choose any other day according to your preference. It is important to stick with healthy carb sources like oats, rice, quinoa, potatoes, sweet potatoes, fruit, etc.

You can’t achieve anything unless you work hard for it. Exercise at least 3 days a week to prevent your metabolism from slowing down which is a common side effect of losing weight. You could opt for cardio, planks, and yoga while also including some lesser known exercises like slow climbers, scissor kicks, squat walk, jumping T’s, etc.

So, pick up those running shoes and exercise mat and say adios to that stubborn weight that you wish to shred.
