We all are busy in our lifestyle and this hectic schedule of ours has made us careless towards our food habit. This lifestyle has made us addicted to the food made up of unhealthy ingredients. But if we want to live a disease free healthy life than we must have to learn to avoid the following food items which we eat on regular basis:
- Yummy Ice-creams
Though summer seems incomplete without deliciously flavored ice-creams but they are seriously not cool when it comes to your health. Presence of high levels of cholesterol can be the sufficient reason to stop eating this. Ignore your emotional bonding with ice-creams if you want a healthy life.
- Aah!! Those packed potato chips
The more flavors a chip contains, the more MSG (Monosodium glutamate) and other artificial ingredients you can expect it to have. Consuming chips on regular basis will give you weight gain, high blood pressure and high cholesterol as well. Will you still have it?
- It’s hard to live without fried foods!
But still you must try to set aside the high amounts of trans fat, saturated fat, calories, and cholesterol that comes with frying foods. These tasty fried foods also contain MSG and can damage your body and brain in many different ways. They can clog arteries and lead to strokes and Alzheimer’s too. Worth to avoid!
- Pizza can no more be your favorite
A cheesy slice of pizza tastes great but it causes risk factors like heart disease and high cholesterol and the cheese which is compulsorily used in pizza has high fat content. Even the wheat dough that is used for pizza base is rich in anti-oxidants. Don’t make it your enemy.
- Maggi-It is tasty but what about healthy?
A Maggi noodles is the enticing treat for a quick lunch or casual supper, but it is after all a junk food. It can have harmful effects on your health. It contains monosodium glutamate and lead which can cause nausea, headache and high blood pressure. So no more Maggi from now onwards!
While people all over the world are looking for a quick and easy to prepare meal to grab on, doctors suggest not taking these foods as they can be very harmful for people of every age group. Dr Garima Tyagi – Senior Gynecologist, advices that despite having a strong food craving, pregnant women must avoid these foods as it will affect the health of baby and increases the chances of health disorders in them.
