Cleaning Hairbrushes and CombsThere are a lot of other things that get jammed in your hair brush: oils, dust, hair spray, germs, random particles and what not. Can you imagine the condition of your comb if you don’t clean it for weeks? And what impact it leaves on the hygiene of your hair, scary isn’t it? Obviously you would never want to brush all that onto your freshly cleansed hair.
- Step 1: Pick a long, slim tool, for example, tail comb or a bob hair pin). Slide it over all the trapped hair and dust in the brush, and smoothly pull out until it’s released out of the bristles. Obviously, if there won’t that much hair, you can simply pull out whatsoever is left, after you comb your hair.
- Step 2: Now for washing the comb, fill up the container with warm water and pour some decontamination shampoo. Allow it to soak for sometime, or take an old toothbrush and gently rub at the base of the brush or comb.
- Step 3: That is it! All clean. Either let the comb dry naturally, or use a blow drier for a quicker result. Some brushes, in case of wooden, may take extra time to dry, so it's a good idea to let them dry during the night.
